Membership fees 2026 for the sports sections, swimming lessons, Junior Pro and Uur U
Uur U, swimming lessons and Junior Pro
The total amount for swimming lessons and Junior Pro is € 265.00 per season.
We invoice this as follows:
September: € 60.64
November: € 83.09 (fee € 60.64 + KNZB contribution € 22.45)
February: € 60.64
April: € 60.63

On registration the following additional costs apply:
- € 7.50 registration fee
- € 10.00 swimming goggles and swim cap (ABC only)
- € 22.45 KNZB contribution for the current year
- The cost of a diploma exam is € 15.00
- On registration a direct debit mandate is required. Without a mandate, € 5.00 administration costs will be charged per invoice
- Invoices are non-refundable
- Cancellation must be submitted no later than one month before the next payment period at ledenadministratie@dwt-haarlem.nl
Jeugd Sport en Cultuurfonds:
We are affiliated with the Jeugdsportfonds. If you are unable to pay the fee yourself, you may be eligible for a contribution from the Jeugdsportfonds. To apply, submit a request at the start of the swimming lessons through the intermediary at your child's school.

Sports sections: synchronized swimming, competitive swimming, waterpolo
The annual fee for the sports sections is € 355,00.
You can choose to pay this amount in September for the whole year or per quarter.
- On registration a direct debit mandate is required
- Without a mandate, € 5.00 administration costs will be charged per invoice
- New members pay a one-time registration fee of € 7.50
- Cancellation must be submitted no later than one month before the next quarter at ledenadministratie@dwt-haarlem.nl
- Invoices are non-refundable
Composition of the membership fee
Every year in January the KNZB contribution is invoiced separately. New members joining during the year also pay the KNZB contribution separately. These are costs we pass on one-to-one. The fee is invoiced as follows:

Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur:
At DWT we want to make sure everyone can take part in sports. That is why we are affiliated with the Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur (JFS&C). The JFS&C covers the membership and any equipment for children whose parents cannot afford sports and who have a Haarlem Pas. They cover up to € 500.00 for swimming lessons and up to € 350.00 for the sports.
Parents who receive healthcare allowance (zorgtoeslag) are also entitled to a contribution from the JFS&C.
